On our way to a junkin' weekend. . .

final approach into long beach

first time i'd seen the ocean in decades. . .

. . . or so it seemed

this would be the closest we'd get to it

since our true destination was the rose bowl flea market

Tiny letters & time travel. . .

How do you like these tiny letters I found?
They’re only less than an inch tall.
I love the school box, don't you?

They take me on a little time travel,
back to 1983 teaching 1st grade
@ Sandy Elementary.

Those are sweet memories.

Thanks, tiny letters!

Very good junk, coming soon to flea.o.logy. . .

Had an amazing junking day last Friday. . .

Found all this good junk in the same place. . .

Of course, I can't divulge where that was.

If I did my junking partner would disown me.

And I really don't want that to happen. . .

So, sorry, location is a secret.

The good news is. . . there's more where this came from.

And Jen has some too.

And it's coming to flea.o.logy

Come see it on January 19th.

In Payson.

At Olson's Garden Shoppe.

Check fleaology.blogspot.com for details

And ~ I'll see you very soon. . .

Relief Society Grapes!

Not having grown up in the LDS church,

I knew nothing about the culture of glass grapes.

I've been LDS for nearly 33 years now,

and I still know nothing about them.

I think I'll be okay, though.

Found these beauties last week while junking.

They're smaller and more delicate than most.
(Look a lot more like grapes, too, if you ask me.)

I'll be bringing them to flea.o.logy in a couple of weeks.

Don't trample each other rushing to get them, okay?

Check out the flea.0.logy blog for more info:

Craft room makeover, part 2. . .

Still working on the craft room.

Probably will be for a while.

Found an awesome shelf the other day,
which meant major reorganization of two other shelves.

That's how this process works. . . .

These are some of the things that go on that shelf.

An enamel refrigerator box filled with doll parts.

Pretty, aren't they?

This is another enamel refrigerator box,
also filled with doll parts.

Someday I'm going to put together
these oddball dolls I've been dreaming of.

For now they are just in boxes on my shelves.

Here's another grouping
hanging out in my craft room.

Pink stuff.

Not sure what to do with it yet.

But it's pretty too, don't you think?

This is the new shelf with all the refrigerator boxes.

The shelf is a lot more attractive in person.

But - ooohh - is it ever great for fitting in craft supplies!

Another great shelf, this one a freebie. . . .

See all those jars with craft supplies?

Woo hoo!

Love, love, love this shelf!

Got it at Second Hand Chic in Sugarhouse.

It's yellow and chippy and delicious.

And finally,
I'm sharing with you
one of my budding collections.

Tomato pincushions.

In a jar.

Because everything looks
more wonderful
under glass.

Don't you think???

So, what projects
are you working on?
